What is Google Analytics 4 and how is it connected to ikas?
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) helps you understand your website visitors’ behavior and improve the performance of your ikas store. Here’s how to use GA4 effectively for your marketing and sales.

How to set up Google Analytics 4
If you are already signed in to your Google account, you will be taken directly to the overview page. In that case, start with Step 1 via the Admin menu (⚙️ in the bottom left).
If you have not created an account yet, you will automatically be guided through the setup process.

Open Google Analytics and click Create Account if you don’t have one.

Enter your brand name as the account name, enable all options, and click Next.  
- 
Create a property: enter a name, select your time zone and currency.  
- 
Answer the business questions and proceed.  
- 
Select the desired reporting types, create the property, and accept the terms.   
- 
Choose Web as the platform.  
- 
Enter your domain, name the data stream, and click Create and Continue.  
- 
Close the setup instructions pop-up and copy the Measurement ID (e.g., G-XXXXXXXXXX).  
Add the Measurement ID to ikas
- 
Open your ikas dashboard. 
- 
Navigate to Sales Channel > Extensions. 
- 
Under Web Analytics & Tracking Tools > Google Analytics 4.0 ID, click Connect, paste your Measurement ID, and save.
