With the Trustpilot app for ikas, you can connect your shop to Trustpilot. For every order, data is automatically transmitted to Trustpilot, which then sends a review invitation to your customers via email.
What is Trustpilot?
Trustpilot is a customer review platform that helps you build trust and transparency with your customers. Through automated review invitations, your customers can share their shopping experience directly on Trustpilot.
What is the Automatic Feedback Service (AFS)?
AFS is an automated service by Trustpilot that enables sending review invitations to customers after a purchase. The email is sent directly by Trustpilot. You can define in Trustpilot when and how this invitation will look. ikas transmits the necessary data (e.g., order number, email address) to Trustpilot when an order is placed.

Install Trustpilot App in ikas and Activate AFS
Step 1: Install the App
- Log in to your ikas dashboard.
- Go to Apps > Appstore.
- Search for Trustpilot Reviews and install the app.
- After installation, you will find it under Apps > My Apps.
Step 2: SMTP Settings for AFS Emails
- Open the Trustpilot app in the ikas dashboard.
- Under the Settings tab, enter the SMTP credentials through which ikas will send emails to Trustpilot.
E-mail Delivery Settings (for AFS)
The email address used must be valid – but it can be freely chosen.

Note: If you are unsure about these settings, please contact your IT department or your email provider.
Once entered, you can test the connection using the Send test Email button in the top right corner.
Step 3: Set Up AFS Connection

Go to the AFS tab.

Activate the checkbox Enable AFS integration.

Log in to Trustpilot and copy the AFS receiver email address provided there.

Enter this address into the corresponding field in the ikas app.

Choose how Trustpilot should be notified:

Automatically: If the checkbox Activate auto send? is checked, Trustpilot will automatically be notified when a new order is placed.

Manually: If this option is unchecked, you can manually trigger the invitation. Go to Orders > Orders, select an order, click the three dots ("…") in the top right, and choose Trigger AFS.
