How to Export the Customer List

To export your customer list, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

    Sign in to your ikas Dashboard.

  2. Access Customers:

    Click on the Customers > Customers tab in the left menu.

  3. Choose the Export Option:

    Click on the Export button in the top right corner. A window will open where you can define the export details.

  4. Choose the Export Format:

    Select the desired file type for the export (CSV or XLS).

  5. Select Details:

    Choose whether you want to export customer information or only customer properties.

  6. Select Export Data:

    • Export all customers: You can export all customers at once.
    • Export specific customers: If you want to export only specific customers, a filter needs to be set and applied before step 3. Based on this, a filtered customer list can be exported. More information about the filter function can be found here.
  7. Export:

    Click the Export button to complete the export. The file will be automatically downloaded in the selected format.

    Before Import: Do an export.

    It is recommended to perform an export before any import to ensure that you're working with the latest product data.

How can I edit the exported CSV file?

Do you want to edit the exported CSV file? You can use Google Sheets and proceed as follows:

  1. Open Google Sheets:

    Open Google Sheets and create a blank spreadsheet.

  2. Import the File:

    Click on File > Import > Upload > Browse and select the downloaded CSV file.

  3. Adjust Import Settings:

    A window will open. Leave the separator type on “Detect automatically” and check the box for “Convert text to numbers, dates, and formulas”.

  4. Import Data:

    Click Import Data to load the CSV file into Google Sheets.

  5. Edit Data and Save:

    Edit the file as needed and save it in the correct format.
