How to Export Products
To export products from your ikas Dashboard, follow these steps:
- 
Log in to the ikas Dashboard: Sign in to your ikas dashboard. 
- 
Navigate to Products: In the left menu, click on the Products tab and select Products. 
- 
Select Export Option: Click on the Export button at the top-right corner. A window will appear where you can specify details for the export. 
- 
Choose Export Format: Select the desired file type for the export (CSV or XLS). 
- 
Select Format and Details: Choose whether you want to export just the Products or the Custom Fields of the Variants/Products as well. Then click Next. 
- 
Select Products to Export: - Export All Products: You can export all products at once.
- Export Specific Products: If you only want to export certain products, you need to apply a filter before step 3. Based on that filter, a filtered product list can be exported. More details on the filter function can be found here.

Select Information to Export: Choose the specific information you wish to export (e.g., product name, description, price). Note: Ensure that when importing later, you select the same set of information as during the export. 
- 
Export: Click on the Export button to complete the export. The file will automatically download in the chosen format. 
Pre-Import: Perform Export First It is recommended to perform an export before every import to ensure that you are working with the latest product data.
How Can I Edit the Exported CSV File?
To edit the exported CSV file, you can use Google Sheets:
- 
Open Google Sheets: Open Google Sheets and create a blank spreadsheet. 
- 
Import File: Click on File > Import > Upload > Browse, and select the downloaded CSV file. 
- 
Adjust Import Settings: A window will open. Leave the separator type on “Detect automatically” and check the box for “Convert text to numbers, dates, and formulas”. 
- 
Import Data: Click Import Data to load the CSV file into Google Sheets. 
- 
Edit and Re-import Data: Edit the file as needed and save it in the correct format. Tip: You can find an overview of the columns and their meanings here. More information about importing can also be found here.
