How to Create an Automatic New Customer Discount

Suppose you want to give all new customers a one-time discount of 10% on their first order. Here's how you can set up the promotion in ikas:

Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

Sign into your ikas Dashboard.
Navigate to Campaigns:

In the left menu, click on Discounts > Campaigns.
Add a Campaign:

Click on the Add Campaign button.
Select Campaign Type:

Choose Automatic Discount.
Create the Campaign:

Give the campaign a meaningful title, such as “10% Welcome Discount for New Customers” or “NEW CUSTOMER DISCOUNT”.
Select Discount Type:

Choose Percentage Discount and set the value to 10%.
Set Conditions:

Choose All Products so that the discount applies to the entire product range.
Set Additional Settings:

Set a Usage Limit per User of 1, so the discount can only be used once per customer.
Restrict Customer Group:

Enable the option “Only for Registered Customers”.
Activate Sales Channels and Currencies:

Select the valid sales channels and currencies.
Set Discount Period:

Leave the setting blank to make the campaign permanent.
Save & Activate:

Click on Save to activate the discount campaign.
