How to Record an Inventory Transfer

To ensure that the transferred products are correctly recorded and stock levels are updated, you can perform a review of the transferred goods. Simply follow these steps to confirm the successfully transferred and yet-to-be-transferred products and update your order accordingly.

  1. Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

    Sign in to your ikas dashboard.

  2. Access Transfers:

    In the left menu, click on the tab Products > Transfers.

  3. Select a Transfer:

    Click on the relevant transfer with the status Waiting for Transfer.

  4. Confirm the Transfer:

    Click on Receive the Product in the top right corner and confirm the transferred products by filling out the appropriate fields:

    • Accepted: Enter how many products were actually transferred.
    • Rejected: Enter how many products were not transferred.

    Alternatively, you can select Accept All or Reject All on the right.

    Alternatively, the inventory check can also be performed by scanning barcodes. Please note that the barcode mode must first be activated via the respective Read With Barcode button. The lamp button acts as a trigger that can be activated as needed. No manual entry of the quantity is required – the number of scanned products will be automatically recorded. However, if desired, the quantity can be manually adjusted.

  5. Save:

    Don’t forget to save your changes.

Once the quantity is confirmed, the order will be marked as Completed. If only part of the transfer was completed, the status will will be updated to Partially Completed.

After the stock transfer is completed, the inventory levels of the products will be automatically updated.
