How to Create Affiliate Reports

To create affiliate reports within ikas Marketing, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

    Sign into your ikas dashboard.

  2. Access Email Campaigns:

In the left menu, click on Marketing > Affiliate Reports.

  3. Add a Report:

Click on the Add Affiliate Report button to start creating a new report.

  4. Create Report:

Choose an internal name for your affiliate report (not visible to customers).

  5. Define the Type:

Select the type of affiliate report you want. You can choose from different report types:

    • Discount Code: Add a discount code to your report. Make sure the discount code has already been created in your system. For more information on creating a discount code, click here.

    • UTM Link: If you want to use UTM links for tracking, proceed as follows:

      • Website URL: Enter the URL of your website you want to track.
      • UTM Parameters: Select at least one of the following parameters to track the traffic:
        • utm_source: Indicates the source of the traffic (e.g., Google, Facebook, Newsletter).
        • utm_medium: Describes the medium or channel through which the traffic comes (e.g., CPC for paid ads, Email, Social).
        • utm_campaign: Used to mark a specific campaign or promotion (e.g., Summer Sale, BlackFriday2025).
        • utm_term: Used to differentiate content within a campaign (e.g., Banner or Text Link).
        • utm_content: Typically used for paid keywords, especially in Google Ads.

It’s recommended to set the key UTM parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign for effective traffic tracking. The additional parameters (utm_content and utm_term) are optional.

The generated affiliate link will be displayed on the right. You can then copy this link and share it with influencers or partners to use on social media or their websites.

  6. Set Metrics:

    • Choose which metrics you want to see in your report. You can select the following metrics:
      • Total Sale: Shows the total value of sales generated by the affiliate or influencer.
      • Product Quantity: Indicates how many products were sold in total.
      • Net Sales: Shows the net value of sales generated by the partner.
      • Refund Quantity: Indicates the number of products returned.
      • Total Refund Amount: Shows the total value of refunded products.
      • Sale Count: Indicates the number of orders generated by the affiliate or influencer.
    • Define in which timeframe the metrics should be captured: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Annually.
  7. Add Data and Grouping:

Add data that will be displayed in the columns depending on the selected report type.

    • Show Only Sales Metrics: Enable this option to show only the metrics you have selected.
    • Show Grouped by Product: Choose this option if you want to group your metrics by product, category, brand, or variant. This will help you analyze the performance of individual products.
  8. Select Products:

Choose whether all or only specific products should be included in the report.

  9. Define the Time Range:

Set the start and, if applicable, end date for your report. This will allow you to define the exact period for which affiliate data will be collected.

  10. Save:

Don’t forget to save your changes.
