How to Create a Manual Product Group

Before creating a product group, make sure that the relevant products already exist. Please note that the product group feature is only available in the All-in-One package.

To create a manual product group, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

    Sign in to your ikas dashboard.

  2. Access Product Groups:

    In the left menu, click on Products > Definitions and select Product Groups.

  3. Create a Product Group:

    Click on Add Group. A window will open where you can choose from the following options:

    • Manual Product Group: Products are manually assigned to the group.
    • Automated Product Group: Products are automatically assigned to the group based on set conditions. For more information, click here.
  4. Select Manual Product Group:

    Choose Manual Product Group.

  5. Fill in the Fields:

    • Group Name: Choose a suitable name for your product group.
    • Group Type: Define how the variant will be displayed on the product page (e.g., "Color"). Confirm your entry by pressing Enter.

    Note: You can create up to three group types.

  6. Add Products:

    • Click on Add Product and search for the items you want to assign to the group.
    • Select the appropriate products and confirm by clicking Save.
  7. Prepare Products:

    After adding the products, you can make the following adjustments:

    • Enter Variant Values: Enter the corresponding value for each product (e.g., color name).
    • Sort Products (Optional): Determine the order of the variants by using Drag & Drop or numerical values.
    • Add or Remove Products: Use + Add Product to include more items. If needed, remove a product using the Trash Icon.
  8. Save:

    Click on Save at the top right to secure your product group.
