How to Activate the Payment Reminder Emails

With the payment reminder, you can automatically notify customers via email when they have placed an order but the payment is still pending.

Activate Payment Reminder

Follow these steps to activate the payment reminder:

  1. Log into the ikas Dashboard:

    Sign in to your ikas Dashboard.

  2. Access Automations:

    In the left menu, click on Sales Channel B2C > Automations.

  3. Activate Payment Reminder:

    • In the Money Transfer Reminder section, click the Activate button on the right.
    • Enable the payment reminder by checking the checkbox at the top right.
  4. Configure Payment Reminder:

    Make the following settings:

    • Target Group for Payment Reminder: Decide whether only active customers or all customers should receive a reminder.
    • Marketing Email Consent: Choose whether all customers or only customers with an email subscription should be notified.
    • Reminder Timing: Set the number of days after which the payment will be checked and the reminder will be sent.
  5. Save:

    Click Save to apply the changes.
