To successfully export, edit, and re-import product or variant properties, certain guidelines must be followed. The properties must be created in advance in the dashboard under **Products > Definitions > Properties**. > **Note**: It is recommended to download the file as a CSV file and edit it using Google Sheets. > >   ### Exporting the properties: 1. **Log into the ikas Dashboard:** Sign into your ikas Dashboard. 2. **Access products:** Click on the **Products** tab in the left menu and select **Products**. 3. **Select export option:** Click the **Export** button in the top right corner. A window will open where you can define export details. 4. **Choose export format:** Select the desired file type for the export (CSV or XLS). 5. **Select format and details:** Choose whether to export the properties of **Products** or all **Variants**. 6. **Export:** Click **Export** to save the file to your computer.   ### Editing the file in Google Sheets: 1. **Open Google Sheets:** Open [Google Sheets](https://sheets.google.com/) and create a new blank spreadsheet. 2. **Import the file:** Click on **File** > **Import** > **Upload** > **Browse** and select the downloaded CSV file. 3. **Adjust import settings:** A window will open. Leave the **separator type** set to **"Automatically detect"** and check the box for **"Convert text to numbers, dates, and formulas"**. 4. **Import the data:** Click **"Import data"** to load the CSV file into Google Sheets.   ### Editing the product properties: A table with all products or variants will appear. Columns will be shown for the individual existing properties. Go to **Products > Products** in the dashboard and click **Import** in the top right. - Select **Product Properties** or **Variant Properties** and click **Next**. - Then select the new file and upload it.     -
