With the eBay App, you can directly connect your ikas store with your eBay account – enabling automatic synchronization of products, inventory, and orders. Please note: The app is currently still in its beta phase.
⚠️ Note: The eBay App is a beta version and under active development. Therefore, limitations or changes in functionality may occur.
What can be synchronized:

Products can be synced one-way from ikas to eBay.

Stock can be synced one-way from ikas to eBay.

Install the eBay App in ikas and connect your account

Log in to your ikas dashboard.

Go to Apps > Appstore and install the eBay (BETA) app.

After installation, the app will appear under Apps > My Apps.

Open the app and navigate to the Settings tab.

Click on Connect with eBay.

A pop-up will open where you can log in to eBay and authorize the connection.
Once the connection is successful, you can proceed with your settings.
Synchronization Settings
Decide what data should be synchronized:

All information will be transferred completely during the initial sync. Afterwards, synchronization will follow the selected options.
Important: Synchronization is only available from ikas to eBay.
Synchronization Control
Specify which types of data should be synced:

⚠️ Warning: Order synchronization is also part of the beta phase. Inventory synchronization only works if order synchronization is also active.
Product Synchronization Settings
Choose how product synchronization should take place:

Update existing products
Matching is based on the SKU (Article Number).
⚠️ Important: Products must be published manually on eBay. eBay requires mandatory fields that may not exist in ikas. You need to fill those directly on eBay before publishing.
eBay Policies
Select the shipping, payment, and return policies previously created in your eBay account.
These must already exist in eBay to be selectable in the app.
eBay Marketplace
Choose the marketplace where you want to sell (e.g., DE).
Inventory & Business Location

Inventory location: Specify the location from which stock is synced.

Business location: Select your business’s operating location.
Save Settings
Don't forget to save your settings at the end.
Manage & Sync Products
Under the Products tab, you can view the products synchronized with eBay.
- Click Start Product Synchronization to trigger a manual sync.
- Products with issues will be displayed with an error message.
Only products that are activated for the eBay sales channel will be synchronized.
Tip: Go to Products > Product, open the relevant product, and click on Sales Channels in the upper right to enable the product for eBay.
Manage Orders
The Orders tab lists all orders transferred from eBay to ikas.
⚠️ Warning: Order management is also part of the beta phase. Unexpected behavior may occur in some cases.
