Would you like to manage your DPD shipments conveniently and efficiently? Then the DPD app is exactly what you need. With this step-by-step guide, you'll have it up and running in no time.
Preparations: Request Your DPD Credentials
Before you get started in ikas, make sure you have the necessary credentials:
- Contact DPD and request your Delis ID and the corresponding password.
- Make a note of both credentials – you'll need them later to connect your account within the app.
Installing and Setting Up the DPD App in ikas
- Log in to your ikas dashboard.
- Go to Apps > Appstore and install the DPD Shipping.
- After installation, you’ll find the app under Apps > My Apps.
- Open the app and click on Settings to begin configuration.
- Click the “Connect” button to link your DPD account.
- Enter your Delis ID and password received from DPD.
- Click Save to establish the connection.
- Optional: Enable the option “Send email notification when order status is Fulfilled” to automatically share tracking details with your customers.
- Save your settings using the button in the top right corner.
Note: In the app, you will find the Orders tab.
There, you can view all orders with generated labels and any potential error messages.
Creating a DPD Label
- Go to Orders > Orders and open the relevant order.
- Ensure the order status is Created.
- Click the three-dot menu ("…") next to the “Mark as Shipped” button.
- Select “Pack & Create DPD Label”.
- In the window that opens, select the products to include in the package.
- Click Save.
- In the next window, choose:
- the appropriate DPD product,
- the preferred label format,
- and whether to include additional weight.
- Click Send to generate the label.
- The generated label will now appear in the timeline of the order and can be opened and printed from there.
