      How to Set Up and Use the Etsy App

      Connect your Etsy shop with ikas to centrally manage your products, synchronize inventory, and automatically import orders – simple, clear, and efficient.

      Installing the Etsy App

      1. Log in to your ikas dashboard.

      2. Navigate to Apps > AppStore.

      3. Search for the Etsy App and install it.

      4. Once installed, you’ll find the app under Apps > My Apps.

      Connecting Your Etsy Account

      1. Open the Etsy App in your ikas dashboard.

      2. Click Connect my Etsy account.

      3. A new window will open – log in with your Etsy credentials.

      4. Click Grant Access to authorize the connection.

      5. You’ll be redirected back to ikas – your account is now connected.

      Configuring Settings

      Once connected, you can configure the following settings within the Etsy app:

      General Settings:

      • Warehouse locations to use:
        Choose which warehouse stock data should be considered when syncing inventory with Etsy.

      • Sales channel name:
        Define how the Etsy sales channel should be labeled in ikas (e.g., "Shopname Etsy").

      • Price list to use
        Select a price list that matches your Etsy shop’s currency.

      Additional Options:

      • Sync order status from Etsy to ikas
        → If an order is marked as "shipped" in Etsy, the same status will be reflected in ikas.

      • Do not send price changes to Etsy
        → Price changes for matched products will not be sent to Etsy (if enabled).

      • Do not send stock changes to Etsy
        → Stock changes for matched products will not be sent to Etsy (if enabled).

      • Send stock and price updates to Etsy for matched products
        → When products are matched, inventory and price data will be sent to Etsy. If enabled, updates will be synced continuously.

      💡 Tip: Don’t forget to click Save after making any changes.

      Matching Products

      To ensure the integration works properly, products must be matched between ikas and Etsy.

      1. In the Etsy App, go to the Products tab.

      2. Click Actions > Import products from Etsy (top right).

      3. Choose one of the following import options:

      Import Options:

      • Import products from Etsy and match manually
        → Etsy products will be imported into the app and can be manually linked to existing ikas products.

      • Add as new product in ikas
        → Etsy products will be imported as new products in ikas.

      • Match products with the same SKU; add unmatched products as new in ikas
        → Etsy products will be imported and added as new if no matching SKU exists. If an ikas product with the same SKU is found, it will be matched automatically.

        Matching is based on: Etsy SKU = ikas SKU

      Note:

      Etsy products do not have barcodes. The Product ID from Etsy will be used as the barcode when importing. If no SKU is available in Etsy, matching is based solely on the Product ID. Mismatched SKUs between Etsy and ikas can result in duplicated products.

      Additional Actions

      • Automatic product matching with ikas
        → All products with identical SKUs will be automatically matched.

      • Delete all products
        → Removes all Etsy product data within the app (does not affect products in ikas or Etsy).
