How to Edit the robots.txt File

What is the robots.txt File?

The robots.txt file is an important tool for controlling how search engine crawlers access and index your website. It specifies which areas of your site are allowed or disallowed for indexing. This way, you can strategically exclude or allow certain pages to optimize your SEO strategy and manage your crawl budget effectively.

Important: The file should only be edited by experienced users. Incorrect changes can result in search engines no longer indexing important pages, which may negatively impact your website’s visibility.
