How to Create Automations

With ikas Workflow, you can customize your marketing automations according to your needs and have specific actions executed automatically whenever defined triggers occur in ikas. This feature is designed to make your marketing campaigns more efficient and effective.

To create automations within the ikas Marketing module, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ikas Dashboard:

Sign in to your ikas Dashboard.

  2. Open Email Campaigns:

Click on Marketing > Automations in the left menu.

  3. Add a New Automation:

Click the Add New Automation button to start creating your automation.

  4. Add a Trigger:

Choose a trigger that will activate the automation. This trigger can be a specific action related to a customer, product or order. Possible triggers include:

    • Customer registers
    • Order is delivered
    • Product is updated
  5. Add Elements:

Build your automation by adding different elements. You have several options available here:

    • Condition: Define under which circumstances a specific action should be carried out.
    • A/B Test: Test different versions of your messages or actions to see which one performs best.
    • Delay: Set how long the automation should wait before executing the next action.
    • Action: Choose what action should be performed when the automation is triggered (e.g., send an email, assign the customer to a specific customer group, etc.).
  6. Save or Save as Draft:

Once your automation is complete, click Save to confirm your setup. If you don’t want to activate it just yet, you can also save it as a draft and continue working on it later.
