How to Bulk Import 301/302 Redirects
If you want to create a large number of redirects, ikas allows you to bulk import them using a CSV file. This saves time and makes it easier to migrate from another platform or update existing URLs.
Follow these steps to successfully import your redirects:
A. Download the Template File
-
Log in to Your ikas Dashboard Sign in to your ikas Dashboard.
-
Go to SEO & Domain In the left-hand menu, click on your Sales Channel B2C > SEO & Domain.
-
Open the Redirects Section In the Redirects section, click Edit Redirects on the right.
-
Export the Import Template - Click Export in the top right corner to download a file in the correct format as a template.
- Choose your preferred file type for the export (CSV or XLS) and click Export.
The file will be downloaded automatically in the selected format.
B. Edit the Import File
-
Open the Import File Open the downloaded file using a spreadsheet program such as Excel or Google Sheets.
-
Edit the File - Enter the old URLs in the second column and the new URLs in the third column.
- If you want to create a 302 redirect, enter TRUE in the fourth column.

-
Save the File Save your file in CSV or XLS format.
C. Import the Redirects
-
Log in to Your ikas Dashboard Sign in to your ikas Dashboard.
-
Go to SEO & Domain In the left-hand menu, click on your Sales Channel B2C > SEO & Domain.
-
Open the Redirects Section In the Redirects section, click Edit Redirects on the right.
-
Import Your File Click Import in the top right corner and upload the file you edited earlier.
After the import, the redirects will be displayed in a table, showing the old and new URLs.
Important Notes
- Make sure both old URLs and new URLs are entered correctly.
- Use only the path after the domain (for example, /en/about-usinstead ofhttps://yourshop.com/en/about-us).
- If you’re importing a large number of URLs, it’s a good idea to double-check your file before importing to avoid errors.
